Waiting for California NCLEX Results...

I am new to this state and just took the NCLEX. My friends in Washington who took the NCLEX received their results in 1-2 days. The board of nursing says it could take from a few days to a month to receive my results. Does anyone know the average wait time in California??

if it stopped in 75 u definately passed it coz me too a lot scared when the computer STOPPED in 75 with total of 14 SELECT ALL THAT APPLY questions. I was like out of control in the exam room and I hardly managed to come out. But thank god i passed.

I wouldn't go as far to say definitely passed as people do post in the NCLEX forum on failing with 75

They update the website during the night at about 3am.

I too was certain I'd failed after my test turned off after 75 questions. I was wrong - I passed! And you probably did too. If you didn't you can take it again in 6 weeks.

If you took it last tuesday, your license will show up either today or Saturday. Good Luck! Remember, you can take it again in 6 weeks if you didn't pass - not the end of the world.

I Just Called The Board Today 4-18-08 And They Mailed Out Results For March 20th, It Actually Takes About 3-4 Weeks To Get The Results. Its Sad That They Are So Behind. I Took My Nclex On April 5th And I'm Very Anxious To See That I Passed

hi skipididaps, i took also the nclex exam on april 15... and i cant find my name in the site... i am already depressed right now... i dont know what to do... this is killing me.... most of my last questions were priority and i remebered there was one item that i should arrange it in order.... i dont knw wat does that mean... i stopped in 90 items.... please help...:banghead:

the california nclex results arrive approximately 2-4 weeks from the date of the exams. So I guess you have to wait for the alloted waiting time. I myself took the exam just this week but I'm expecting a conclusive result probably 3 more weeks from now......

hi.. I also took my exams last 15th of april and still got no news about the results. I really don't feel confident about my performance in the exams. I also answered the maximun questions, numerous SATA, meds and 5 calculations...:(By the way what does it mean when keywords are highlighted in the question? does it mean anything? Does it mean i'm getting wrong answers?....heeeeelp!!! Does anyone have similar type of questions that i went through??...

If you are a US permanent Resident, or American citizen, you can access their website at www.rn.ca.org, then go to permanent license verification, type in your last name, if you passed the exam then your name and your license number will posted in their website. it took 5 days for me to find out that I passed...my name was on the website :-).the hardcopy license will come via regular mail later. goodluck :-)

im a US immigrant here and i do have a SSN.... thats why im asking help from somebody here... cause right now i dont knw what to do.... :bugeyes: pls help:crying2:

If you are not a USC or immigrant with SSN then the average wait is 4-6 weeks whilst you wait for snail mail. You will not see your name on the Ca BRN website without SSN. Much already written in the International forum on this subject

According to BRN then average time is 2-10 days to see results unless there are issues with your file. Maybe worth ringing and see if they have posted snail mail
