I work in upstate NY 250 bed/ 9 OR rooms

We are starting grads at 18.00, we have a pay cap and a clinical ladder.

I am maxed and at top level of clinical ladder I make 32.60 hour, that is tops you can make even after one-thousand years...no raises unless they are across the board. They would love to get rid of all of us "long timers"

call is $15.07 for an 8 hour shift, about a 1.88 hour, lol time and a half if called in.

We get no extra pay for certifications or precepting, we keep track of that and education and submit it to clinical ladder, which we have to do every year, in order to stay on the ladder.

I have been on OR RN for 1 year. My starting wage was $18.06 (just out of school). I then took on the clinical coordinator position for plastic/urology surgery and received another $1.00/hr. We also just received a 6% raise which brought me up to $20.20/hr. We only get $1.50 for on call and time and 1/2 for call-back. I work in a 180 bed hosptial Level II trauma center and we have 11 OR and do everything kidney transplants included. We get double time if we are asked to stay late when not on call

i work in a 90 bed hospital. I have been a nurse for 20 years and make over $30 an hour as base pay plus benefits. I get $2.25 hour to carry beeper and time and a half if i am called in. i work in Fla.
