Wages For Cnas In Home Health

Published

Please share your salary, location and experience. I have set my sights on home health and want to know what to expect.

Thanks for your :twocents:!!

:chuckle

I work for an agency that pays me $8.00 an hour, no gas reimbursement or anything. I love my client so it makes me happy with little pay. I'd rather work for little pay and LOVE my job than work for more money and hate my job. Besides, I start back to college full-time in September and won't be working, I can handle it until then.

Good luck to you~!

Linda,

I must be a complete and total retard because I can't figure out how to reply to the message you sent me!

I'm in North Carolina, not Florida, but when you sign up to take the exam, the proctor never knows who is a challenge and who isn't! I thought the written portion of the exam was fairly easy - alot of common sense stuff!

As far as the skills portion, I got through it! I studied really hard and it is pretty easy stuff to learn on your own if you've been in the medical field (I'm talking clinically). The skills weren't easy by any means!

Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions! :D

oh, I am sorry, I thought you were in florida. ooops! I have been in dental for a long time, so the vitals, hand washing and general patient ethics I know. My BFF is an RN so she is going to help me with some things. Thanks for the info.

Wages usually around 8.00-9.50 in home health care and in nursing homes it ranges from 11.00-15.00 not sure what hospitals are though:nuke:
