Does anyone work for a home health agency that utilizes a wage scale for their nursing staff? I am interested in suggesting the implementation of a wage scale at our next contract negotiations. I am interested most in how your agency compensates for the following:
-Step increases
-Senority
-Actual home health experience
-Past experience unrelated to home health
-Call time
-BSN or related specialty certification
-Job classifications i.e. RN Case Manager/RN Staff Nurse
-Per Diem Staff
I am also interested in how the rural add-on/reduction has impacted your ability to negotiate a fair contract.
If you're uncomfortable discussing specifics and wages, feel free to PM me.

Can't help you as my agency is non union and that info is known by HR, not publicized.

I am with Karen, I cannot share that. I only know the nurses I work with are very underpaid for the area.
