vomiting from food- when to ER?

i was just looking for advice, when is it appropriate to brng someone in to teh ER if they have been vomiting from food for approximately 12 hrs?

is it when the temperature increases to 101 ?

any advice is appreciated and will not be taken as a medical advice

my local ER triage nurse could not answer my question without seeing the pt.

There is not one specific thing (eg: temp, hours of vomiting, etcc.). It's a judgement call based on a lot of things - temp, hydration, discomfort level.
