voice recorder that can jump to a tab?

Published

do you know of a voice recorder that I can make little tabs during the lecture that i can jump to instead of having to start the lecture from the beginning and holding a fast forward button to get to the part i want to hear?

I have an app that does that on my phone but I'm unsure if you can make them during recording. I only added them when listening to it after.

Hi Northmississippi, What will be a helpful app that's an audio recorder and can jump to a specific part of lecture by clicking on a section of your notes is notabiility. I believe it costs around $7.00. Or you can do the free version which is to look at your recorder and write down the times so you can jump to it later on. I hope this helps you. I am app fanatic :)

I use a livescribe echo pen. It records as I write (both my writing and audio). You just touch the pen to a word you've written and it plays back from that moment. I can also plug it into my computer and it saves my hand written notes with the audio. The newer ones work with tablets and can send everything over wifi, but I've never tried one.

I use AudioNote. It's amazing! I type in tabs for each different subject in our powerpoints so I can jumpy right to it when I'm studying. You have to get to full version ($4.99) so you can record unlimited amounts and you can even take photos and add it in ( my prof would do things on the board)
