Vitamins

They say the omega 3 fatty acids (found in salmon, flax oil, and in pill form) is good for the skin and hair.

I'm not a nurse, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.....You might want to buy some hair vitamins. They have lots of biotin in them which is supposed to be good for hair and nails. Get the kind that is a multi-vitamin as well as having the biotin in it. That way you are getting other nutrients you need, while working from the inside out instead of vice-versa (i.e. - high price hair products). Hair is nothing but dead cells anyway, but I guess the biotin works because that's what hair is partially made up of anyway....or so I've heard. Also are you drinking lots of water? That may help...

Also hair does tend to shed every so often, so it may be nothing....

I bought a hair multi-vitamin from GNC because I heard such good things about it, and it seems to be working well.

My hair seems to be shedding alot more than usual. My hair is about 5 or so inches from being to the middle of my back. I was wondering if I'm lacking vitamins or what it might be. please help

You can buy a wonderful nails and hair vitamin at your local GNC. I have used them and they do help. Good luck :)
