this gets discussed a lot in the international forum. i am planning on coming over from the uk and at present it has taken me 2 years to get to the stage i am at and i am still waiting for immigration to access my file. recently i have discovered that the hospital originally petitioning me has backed out but lucky that my recruiter has found a hosptial will to take over but international nurses face a lot of problems before finally getting here.

I am fine with somebody deciding to move to the states who happens to be a nurse, I am against however, recruiting internationally. The states do not make the most of the nurses that are already here. Until that day comes, bringing in reinforcements is out of the question!
