Visa Screen for June 2006 passers

Hi!!! Any update about the decision for June 2006 passers regarding the issuance of a visa screen?

I already got my ATT in California and planning to take the NCLEX in February.

I just hope that they already make a decision about this because it's really frustrating to go through all this trouble, and then find out after you've spent so many hours and dollars that they're not going to give you a visa screen.

You can go to the CGFNS website. They still are not issuing Visa Screen Certificates to those that took the June exam. And you will definitely find issues of finding a job in CA in a hospital because of that exam.

unfortunately gracediwa didn't got that news from any media or updates from CGFNS but from her own experience... I read her thread pertaining to that issue and she's really lucky! Good for you gracediwa, congrats! :biere: :yelclap:

In fairness to all, only those who took and passed the NLE will have some problems with CGFNS/ICHP. For those who belong to the June 2006 but did not take the NLE then won't have problem when they apply for the visa screen.

if someone belongs to June 2006 it means he took the June 2006 NLE.. right?

Not all graduates at that time took the NLE exam, so opted not to take it. Those have no issue with getting the Visa Screen Certificate. For those that did, they are still on hold and will continue to do so. Best bet would have been to rewrite the exam in December, and those that did, will be able to proceed on with their petitioning.
