Visa Options for Filipino Nurses

Are there really any options? or we just have to face the cold hard truth, that there is nothing we can do but wait.

Really only options are immigrant visa and H1b as long as you meet requirements

Generally I would say be prepared for a long wait but keep up nurse experience and be prepared for the wait.

Health care is changing in the US. No one can predict how it will shake out. There is talk of replacing some of the RN models of care which may require less RNS.

Hospital admissions are down and Nursing Homes are being hit hard with Medicare payments and states are bankrupt ( they pay for the chronic care).

The reason why I point this out even when the recession is over, it can be a very long wait for everyone. Americans who are being displaced are going back to nursing school. Who knows when and if there will be a nursing shortage.

agree everything is changing now. everything was manageable pre 2007, but anything after that is almost next to impossible
