Members are discussing the timeline for receiving admissions decisions, specifically focusing on when rejection emails will be sent out. Some members have already received rejection emails, while others are still waiting to hear back. There is also speculation about the timing of final decisions and the process for second interviews.
Hi guys! Just submitted my application for VCU's CRNA program with a tentative start date of January 2026. Anyone else applied yet?
Congratulations to everyone who heard back and fingers crossed for those who haven't YET, including myself 🙂! I applied to the Richmond campus. Can you all share your stats if you don't mind? I have only 1.5 years of experience at the time of application, 3.9 NursingCas calculated GPA, CCRN, unit council and research experience. I am aware of my lack of clinical experience but I thought I would start applying anyways.

That's what it seems like- to further confirm I heard back yesterday and it was for abingdon site! With Richmond being larger applicants makes sense that they do it a seperate day? 🤷🏼♀️ fingers crossed for you all!

Hey! Never too early to start. I started when I had 2 years of med surgery/charge nurse experience (they could care less about med surg LOL) and 1.2 years of ICU. I got interviews at six out of six of my schools, but did not get into any sadly. Even though I didn't get in anywhere, it was still a great experience interviewing to get a feel for how the interviews went. I pray that you don't have my same experience of getting so many interviews without any luck; however, just gotta keep your head down and keep grinding for what you wanna do!
but I applied to Richmond and haven't heard anything yet. I just checked the student portal and my email and haven't seen anything yet.
