Villanova BSN Express 2020

Hi!

I just wanted to create a forum for those applying for the BSN Express for May 2020 at Villanova University.

I just had my interview last Friday and I am waiting patiently with the unknown. Does anyone know about how long it takes to hear? I assume it will be awhile unfortunately.

How did you interview so early? I thought the early decision deadline isn't untill June 30. What was the interview process like?

Wait are they already interviewing before the priority deadline??

Yes ! I had my interview in may and just heard back early june. The sooner you have your requirements in the earlier you will get scheduled for an interview and a decision. Most people for the 2020 cohort wont know until October if they are accepted.

Oh wow. Congrats! I also sent in my application early. I'm currently taking the patho and she said i can take religion in the program. I'm hoping I hear back soon.

I applied for their longer program but then was contacted to apply for the ExpressBSN program instead and my application switched over. The interview was a video call since it was during the school year. I thought it went smoothly and just be yourself! I was accepted June 3rd so it took awhile to hear back.

I’m interviewing this week and am pretty nervous about the outcome! Hopefully not long of a wait, this is my top choice

The interview was very relaxed. I interviewed with shelly H and she basically just wanted to know what brought me to nursing. It was more like a conversation than an interview so no need to really “prep” in my opinion. She was very nice and even gave me a tour of the nursing department afterwords ! Good luck to everyone who still going through the process and congratulations to those who have already been accepted!

I interviewed yesterday and it was very relaxed and conversational. Hoping it doesn’t take too long to hear back, I love this program and campus!

I just had my interview today and it went really well. There is no pressure and it was conversational. She said it is slow during the summer so it might be a bit to hear back. I took patho at a local community college and it was intense since it was over the summer for 5 weeks (still got an A). I think the interview went great, just hoping I get in b/c this is my top choice. Any out of state ppl applying???
