Has anyone heard anything yet?
Thank you! Yes, I'm in PA. I was pretty surprised I was accepted actually. @ash, I still have to take 2 theology courses and patho. I'm going to have to take it through Villanova because I go to Penn State and it is only offered for nursing students I will take the theology courses at psu though
I live in PA too, very close to Villanova actually. Yeah I hate that I have to take patho...it's really a course that should be taken in Nursing School. Very few schools offer it to non-nursing students. Most of the other post-bacc programs have patho as part of their curriculum but i guess that is one less class i have to take. Are you definitely accepting at Villanova or are you waiting on other schools?
@ash, I'm almost positive I will be accepting Villanova. I'm waiting to talk to my family about it a little more once I'm home for Christmas so we can talk about tuition and what not. Since Nova wants a confirmation by Jan. 4th, I feel like it will be too much of a risk to decline and wait to hear from other schools. I'm thankful I was accepted and am nervous to decline lol. What about you? Considering anywhere else?
@aab, my cumulative GPA is a 2.95 and my major GPA (psychology) is a little above a 3.0. I have high B's or A's in my science pre-reqs (except a C in chem). I was very nervous about acceptance since my grades aren't as competitive as they should be. However, I have strong work experience and I think my interview went really well.
I am in Fl so expecting the lettter may take a couple extra days if in fact it is on its way bearing good news. I am signed up for Path at Columbus State Community College in Ohio just in case and have to pay out of state tuition so it is expensive. Not sure how the price compare to Villanova's. Yes many programs do have it included in their cirriculum. If possible, I will hope to take it online at Villanova. They have a list of approved schools that offer it if anyone needs it. Good luck for those waiting to hear!

Congratulations!! :) Also just curious, have you completed all of your pre-reqs? I still have to take pathophysiology and one theology course and it seems like very few schools offer pathophysiology apart from Nova, which is pretty expensive.
