i just got my acceptance letter today too!! villanova isn't my first choice but i am starting to rethink it. i'm still waiting to hear from drexel and jefferson. is anyone else considering jeff or drexel? or any reasons why you want nova?

Yes. At last, I received my acceptance letter today as well. Looking forward to May. It is not that far away! Very exciting. Congrats to everyone who has received their acceptance letter and good luck to those waiting!:)

@laur89....I took an online Death and Dying class at my local community college that had been approved to satisfy a theology requirement. It was very good. I believe I could have also taken a marriage and family course as well. Both were sociology courses, but I made sure they would satisfy the requirement first.

I may just try and sign up for that class at Mercer. The commute once a week is probably worth it compared to paying the ridiculous price at Villanova. I'll probably do my religion courses at Middlesex or online at Middlesex since its so close to my house. I'll be taking death and dying (which Villanova did approve) and intro to philosophy.

Does anyone know how much the 3 credit patho course @ Villanova is? I am signed up for online course at Columbus State Community College in Ohio. Out of state credit hour is $185.00 and it is a 5 credit course.

@ rebecca... i looked at my fee for patho, its $399 plus a $25 registration fee.. i don't know if if would be more for an out of county resident or not.

That is strange that the patho your taking is a 5 credit course, mine is only 3..does it have a lab?

There is no lab for the course...just 5 credits and expensive out of state. I am planning to sign up for the course at Villanova online. Hopefully with 2 sections it should be easier to get in. Just haven't figured out how much it is? Anyone know?

I am truely excited for this new endeavor as this will be a second career...180 degrees from what I have done for the last 23 years!!! Look forward to meeting everyone.

Hi All! I got accepted too! I also got accepted to West Chester, waiting on Drexel and I'm still undecided, but I'm probably going to go with Villanova. I took one religious course and need one more and I was surprised to see some of you mention taking marriage and family and death and dying. I didn't know they accepted these. I have been taking my classes at Montco, so I will have to see if they offer them. Thanks so much for the tip. I think I'm going to take the online class at VU for patho too. I'm looking forward to meeting you all! I love that we can all post here to help each other out. Maybe as things get closer we should consider a FB page for all of us? Just a thought! Congrats to everyone...!

I wasn't aware of those other class options either. I think I will look into them considering I haven't heard great things about the religion classes at my school. I plan on signing up for patho trough VU within the next week and hoping it won't be too late! But I think a Facebook page is a great idea for us to get to know each other before starting!

I am looking on the VU website, the best I can find is that Patho for part-time students is $750/credit hour since it is 3 credits it would cost $2250 plus nominal semester /technology fees. Does anyone have information that can confirm or deny that cost? I will try to find out more tomorrow during working hours after my Chemistry final. Thanks for any feedback. I think a facebook page sounds good as well. I did see that the entering class 2011 has one for members of the class only.

does anyone know where exactly the deposit is to be sent? also is the picture supposed to be passport size?
