Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for anyone who applied to the October RN New Grad Residency at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. I thought it might be nice to get to know people ahead of time and share questions/advice..

Specializes in MICU, CVICU.

I have a ADN with a bachelor's degree in a totally different field.

Anyone know the date in October it starts? I'm hoping late October because my school is taking a long time to submit grades.

I'm asking for Adult Medical Services or Womens/Childrens. I didn't like how ICU was thrown into the mix for everything. I don't see myself starting out in ICU. What did you ask for?

Emergency or Cardiac Services. I really want to work in the ED so hopefully they have positions open!

Waiting this long has been torture..I'm so ready to hear something! Yeah, I passed NCLEX June 28th! When do you take it?

I haven't taken NCLEX yet, I graduated 2 weeks ago. I'm waiting for paperwork from my school to be filed with the state so I can get my ATT. Any day now...
