vertigo, nurse detectives?

Having a little vertigo mostly with standing, turning of the head and changing postions, bp changes are wnl, doesn't happen all the time, not time specific either, not weather specific, blood tests normal except for cholesterol 233 pt forty female, overweight.

thoughts??

My guess...Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo....(only a guess)

I went to the ENT not only because of the symptoms, but because it was so embarrassing to be sitting in class and suddenly have to grab onto the desk to keep from being thrown to the floor (at least that was the sensation lol).
