vermont nclex

i just sent my nclex application form to vermont last week without noticing that my school made a mistake in typing my name in the form.instead of "maria" they have written "ma.". is this already a discrepancy?im afraid that my applicaion won't be acknowledged.

Not sure exactly what you sent to VT, as there is no such thing as an NCLEX application. You are applying for licensure as an RN in the US, there is no way to apply for the NCLEX exam and there is not even any mention of it on the papers that you sent in to the BON for VT.

Now to your question: Ma. is an abbreviation of the name Maria and it is seen every so often. Should not be any issue. You may just wish to send an e-mail to the BON to let them know of this.

yes what i meant was the licensure to become an RN in the US.thank you so much suzzane..youre right maybe ill just have to email the bon about this matter.you really think thats not a big issue anymore..?thank you again

That is what you need to do. But remember what you post is what people are reading, they are not expected to read minds and when you use the wrong terminology, then it does not make sense in what someone is asking.

suzzane im so worried with the mistake in my documents.it bothers me so much..im afraid it may cause delays to my application.please help me.could you help me what exactly should i tell the BON of VT?do you think they will give attention to my name? if i email them is it sure that they will reply to me?ive got an idea.im planning to send another set of application form including the transcript and diploma then ill email the BON to disregard my first set of application. doyuo think thats better?or id just email them and then wait for their reply? do they give so much attention to names like mine? has someoone talked about the same problem with you?thank you so much..

You are worrying about something that you do not need to do. Ma. is an approved abbreviation for Maria and is used here all of the time.

Just relax, and do not send anything else to them, or then you will really make things difficult for yourself.

Leave things as they are if you are asking for our advice here.

Do not do anything at this time. It is holiday season and your chances of getting it answered right now are quite slim.

Just leave things as they are, or you will be causing more problems for yourself.
