Verify NCLEX results for Visa Screen

Hello. I am processing my visa screen and one of the requirements is to verify nclex result. Do you know how to go about this?

Part of the visa screen documents include 2 forms- one for licensure verification with whatever board you are licensed with and a successful pass of NCLEX. You need to find out specifically the boards requirement but generally you fill out the CGFNS forms and mail it to the board with a money order or cheque.

The board then directly sends to CGFNS after usually a few weeks processing time

You should call your state board of nursing and ask if they already have any process in place. For me, I wrote a formal letter explaining to the board what I need them to do for me and why, the CGFNS form, and a check with the BON requested fee for processing. My state doesn’t issue a physical license so I also printed my license out from the BON website. Hope this is helpful.

Hello! I am in the same situation. I have started visa screen and have a lot of questions. Should I start this process without passed NCLEX? I am a nurse in Russia, I have a Russian licence, Russian nurse diploma. When I started my VS process (application) I saw questions about NCLEX - yes, no or NEVER taken, I chose Never taken. When I should register for NCLEX in process VS? In the handbook of VS I didn't find about this. If you have information about this, please, help! Thank you for your response.

I would suggest leaving visa screen application until you have done NCLEX and then apply. Usually there is a one year timeframe on application so if you have issues and delays on state application you will have to pay again for visa screen

Thank you very much! You are absolutely right about year, but if I choose now another services, such as CES or CVC, and after that, will send them copy of Russian licence, diploma etc, apply for BON, and after that I'll take NCLEX, should I do the same things for VS? Send copy, evaluation etc...This evaluation will be again? The same thing I'll do for VS... I don't have permanent status in USA, I live in Russia, and CFGNS recommends the VS for immigration and evaluation. I don't know what should I do((( What do you think about it?

Visa screen certificate will certainly be required prior your immigration move but CGFNS can use the same documents for vsc that it uses for CES. The only requirement will be arranging with the BON to send confirmation of passing NCLEX to CGFNS

Hi. I am in Ontario, Canada and passed my NCLEX and registered with my BON. Since I live close to my BON, I went there to request for it. I filled - up a form and gave them my CGFNS form - Verification of license. I paid for its processing & paid extra for courier as well.

The only thing I am waiting now for my CGFNS - Visa Screen is for one of my school to send their completed CGFNS form which I have been waiting for a while.
