Hi there! PRC needs 3 days processing time for your Licensure Verification. Then they will offer 2 options for delivery to desired destination. One you pay cheap, around 101 pesos but it will take exactly 1 month before it reach, say in your case Vermont and the other one you pay a thousand pesos for FEDEX, express delivery. Good luck!

Are you done with CGFNS-CES? This is a requirement in Vermont licensure application.
There is also a license verification needed in CGFNS-CES, different from the verification of license needed by the Vermont BON. I suggest you have to authorize one of your close relative or friend to apply it for you in PRC. It only cost 75 pesos for the application, 21 pesos for the doc. stamp, and 101 pesos for regular mail. If you want express courier like DHL, or FEDEx, you have to arrange it with the one incharge in PRC and don't pay the 101 pesos for regular mail. I used regular mail and it took 2 weeks (including processing) before CGFNS received mine. I will be sending a PM to you.
When I applied for Vermont I only enclose my CGFNS certificate with my application and the only reason why I needed the Licensure verification from PRC was my CGFNS certificate was issued three years ago. But if you don't have the CGFNS certificate, you have to get the CGFNS-CES coz its one of their requirements. Good luck!

Vermont will issue you a license as long as you pass the NCLEX and pay their fees. Keep in mind you will still need a valid SS# in order to work as a RN. If you have that then you're almost there!
OK. If I do get a license in VT and find an employer from there, can get an SSN? let's say H1B only.
If you're a specialized (BSN) nurse not a general BSN holder and you have several years experience in that specialization, then you might. New RNs DON'T qualify for that visa. But there are very few hospitals who are using the H1b visa. Unsure if any in Vermont still offer the H1b visa, but keep in mind it's not the hospital but the US Immigration who issues the visas.
