Verification of License from Saudi Arabia

Hi everyone! I am currently waiting for my CES (Credentials Evaluation Service) report from CGFNS so I can go ahead and apply for licensure here in Tx. CGFNS already received all the requirements except this VOL (Verification of License) from Saudi Arabia. Last March 29,2015, when I called SCFHS (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties) I was informed that they no longer process the VOL due to the large number of organizations outside KSA requesting them to fill up this forms. And that the Certificate of Good Standing which they currently issue via their website is valid and enough to verify the license. They also emailed me the announcement letter that says so. I called CGFNS the next day and informed them about it, I was told they are not aware of this matter and that they're going to investigate and see why SCFHS had stopped this process. So I waited, after a week I called them again and they responded that they are already aware of this problem and that they have people working on this matter and communicating with SCFHS. Until now they still tell me the same.

I stressed out the Certificate of Good Standing which CGFNS said they accept but it has to come directly from SCFHS. The problem now is when I called SCFHS, I was told that it is an automated process and that I have to register in their website, provide a valid email where they can send the certificate after payment. And that it is their only way to provide me the certificate as they don't and never send this certificates via a post mail. Now Im getting really sad about all this and don't know what to do next. Is anyone here in the same dilemma I'm in? I need help... :cry:

Hi! Thanks for this information. I'm here also in Riyadh and I'm planning to request a license verification from saudi council. So I need to request first certificate of good standing before I will go there? Does the saudi council is the one mailing the verification form directly or they will give us the form and we are the one who will mail it? Thanks hope for your response.

Good day! I have the same issue. I have a hard time contacting the call center in Saudi Council, submitted my documents through DHL last June 8 and until now I haven't received any news from them, emailed them almost everyday too. I'm still in Saudi but in Taif and I'll be going home soon, can someone help me or us, anyone who is in Riyadh right now please. :(

Hello...i am currently processing my verification of saudi council license for my CES in CGFNS...and im applying in texas.. I submitted it already to the saudi council office and they said i need to return after 1 month to get the verified license...my question is do i need to put it on a signatured envelope from saudi council office and is it necessary to put there seal on it or not?..because one of their client was asking for their seal but they said they dont have..so i will be having a problem just in case the seal will be needed.?thank you

Hope this will help:

I applied for verification last July 10, 2017, in Saudi Council Jeddah Branch (address: Falastin, Al-Rehab, Jeddah), I used google map to find the location and road UBER so I won't be lost. Lol

I brought the following documents:

*CGFNS form for verification / or forms that are needed to be filled up by them.

*Copy of Saudi Council Certificate with translation

*Copy of Saudi Council ID

*Copy of IQAMA (if you're still in Saudi Arabia)

*Copy of Passport (I included my old passport which is used on my certificate and the new one)

*Copy of Certificate of Good Standing (which can be acquired in their website)

PS. I'm not sure if all of this is required but I just included all of this to be sure.

Once you're in Saudi Council Office, go to 1st floor and ask the receptionist about the one responsible for verification of license and they will tell you who to find (I already forgot the name who process mine). When you find this person, she will give you a form and ask you to pay 300SR in the finance section located at the 2nd floor (they won't accept cash so you have to bring your ATM or Credit Card), after that you will go back to her and give the receipt and form that she gave you, she will ask you to come back tomorrow or any time applicable for you.

I went back to the Saudi Council July 11, 2017, and look for the person who received your documents. (Bring extra copy of the form you'll give them because she made some erasures to mine). She will ask you to check the papers and form if the details are correct and you will have to wait again since she will give the documents to the General Manager to sign it, and then she will give it back to you in an envelope sealed and with stamp and you will be the one to send it, she will give you a return address that you can use when you send it. I paid 372SR with insurance through DHL.

*if you're outside the country an authorization letter is needed to process your papers, be sure you have someone who you trust that can process your papers.

In the VOL form do they fill it up using ink ballpen or computer written? And how will you know the issuance date of your license? Is it the same as registration date? Where can you find it? because it's not written in our ID Card. Thanks I'll appreciate your response.

Yes I am applying for NCLEX Illinois

They handwritten it.

You can check it in mumaris, I believe you have an account already there since they all require us to have our documents to be checked by the dataflow.

What state are you applying to?

I'm living here in UAE and as told, I asked my friend from Saudi to run an errand for me that was just few days ago, tuesday July 18, 2017. She went to SCFHS and ask for the person responsible for the Verification of license. The personel didn't ask her to come back another time, she asked for the Vol Form and Good standtanding certificate including my ID license which was expired already-sept.2016. It doesn't matter. She filled out the form and stamped it, when done she gave it back to my friend in an envelope, sealed. That was it. My friend went outside to send the documents. Story finished. I tracked my documents received by Mr. **** of CGFNS.
