She would have to become certified but usually this is no big deal, Most employers will do it for employees. I work in a hospital and all you have to do is get the practical theory part of it, usually about 2 hours, practice on the rubber arm and then get three successful witnessed starts and you are certified.

Hi, I have a colleague of mine who was hired to become an RPN in a laser clinic in Hamilton. I was helping her out to know whether she can do venipuncture without certification. She has an experiencing to do venipuncture 2 years ago back home but never practiced it in Canada. Thanks for all your replies!
