Hi All,
I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
i passed...i just got my letter in..i took the exam 2/19..i gotta submit my reference in by next wednesday...does anyone have a clue how to have someone write a good reference letter??? and when do we have to make the $1500.00 deposit by?? or is the reference letters just due by next week????

Pick someone like a Teacher. Professor, Employer past or present orAny professional person. Google "Character reference letter". That will give you some ideas. Get your reference letters in first, then they will tell you when they need the deposit.
I dropped off my references today and the lady opened them while I was there to make sure they were sufficient . . . . . . .my professor told me what he wrote it was only a few sentences they just wanna know what type of person you are intelligent, team player things like that. I dont think it has to be that extensive just a overview of you teacher or employers perception of you good luck the lady told me my references were fine and if I should receive a letter stating if I got in or not. So the anticipation and the wait begins again!

I would get the letters, anyhow. It is better to be prepared, because there may be so much running around after being accepted that this is not a detail that you want omitted. It may take a bit of time to decide who to ask, how long it takes them to create an acceptable letter...all sorts of things. In addition, look at it this way...you can use those letters for another opportunity, and you'll probably also be able to get those same people to write a reference letter for a new job once you complete the program and get your license. Good luck to you and everyone else!
