VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

What time does veebs close? And I know u news 9th grade math n 12th grade English but what percintile is passing. And someone has to know how the reading is broken down. Are the words underlined in a sentence and we must goose the answer. Are there analogies. I'm so scared about math. My guessing skills are gonna have to b up to par. I'm going Friday during lunch

I am concerned about the percentile ranking. I took the NET exam and scored 88% math 76% grammar and 49% reading comp. . . .the cut off was 50% so I was shy of one percent. On that exam they also had a testtaking skills portion that wasnt averaged into the other 3 grades but had a huge impact on getting the interview and moving on to the next stage. Dont really know what to study my math skills are pretty good but I'm just concerned about the vocab abd reading comp. Hopefully I score high enough on this Veeb exam. I was told that this test is easier than the net but the net exam seemed easy but they want you to master being a good test taker. This is sooo frustrating. . . . .I just hope to pull through. I had also taken the NLN exam right before I graduated from college and there reading comp is crazzzy!!! The vocab is crazzzy!!! My advice is to learn the prefix, suffix and root meanings to help you pull through if the words on Veeb exam are anything like the ones on the NLN. . . .I tooo afraid to say what I scored it was really bad but my math was 53% and my science was 76%. . . . .good luck to all If anyone knows the cutoff percentile ranking please reply so I know what too look out for I dont want to de devastated. . . .lolol and how long does it take to get the results back??? My test date is Feb 10th and in my opinion the sooner the better because I heard they didnt do the interview process last year it was whoever had that money and paper work in on time sooooo. . . .. . . .again good luck

oh and did anyone notice on there website it says 11th grade reading and 9th grade math??????? Or am I bugging out. . . .my confidence level is alittle down because I have really bad anxiety attacks right before the exam so if u see anyone passing out on the day of the exam it will probably be me lolololol . . . . .my life kinda depends on this. . . . .cant really see myself doing anything else.

Well if this helps U can Google 9th grade Math problems N it will give U a site were U can practice them as well N the reading part. I am secheduled 2 take my exam the day after My b-day Feb 9th wat a present :smackingfBut Its wort my Dreams 2 come true. Good Luck 2 u 2

I hate fractions n word problems I could care less how many apples sally bought and if she ate 3 and gave 4 away how much did she pay or some bs lol. Goodluck. My test will prob. I was just tryna give you an idea of how they have a percentile ranking and you have to meet the requirement in all sections because sometimes people get confused when they scored over the percentile ranking on the composite score (which is the average of all three sections) but if you haven't met the requirements in each sections you will still not get accepted. Sorry if I confuseed you guys more I was confused in the beginning. . . .was just trna help but imma call veeb 2morrow and ask them there percentile ranking!
