VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

I received my letter regarding orientation on Saturday! June 19th!!! Can't wait....hope to see you guys there!

Does anyone know what's going to be on the assessment test that VEEB will give us @ orientation

I wanna know the same thing , and does it have anything to do with us proceeding to get books etc.

I attend this school and only for family obligations I chose to attend here. If i was you i would go to a New jersey school that has financial aid. It is not a bad school at all but they love to give letters about what you owe them every month. They are willing to work with you but you must be realistic about how your going to come up with $ 18,000 out of pocket. If you do plan to go dont discuss to much personal things with anyone including the director and plan to study your butt off it is intense. Honestly if I had to do it again I would have took my chances at a new jersey city school. Best of luck

Newnurse2012 please be clear what school you are referring to. I'm confused because Veeb has financial aid and isn't $18000.

After you paid the deposit, how long did it take to receive the orientation paperwork? My deposit is due on 6/15/12.

I gave my deposit the last week of April and just recived the letter for orientation 2 weeks ago. Since its next Tuesday they should inform you as soon as you give in your deposit.
