Hi All,
I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
I agree with you this school is in it for the money only. First of all, why have us get books and everything then send you a statement that is due in a week, who does that, what if you cant find the entire amount and you've already gone through trouble gettn your books! and I bet you there gonna say there is no payment plan. Times are hard who has money laying around waiting to give VEEB. Im so sick of this I only hope its all worth it in the end cause I'll be really ******! Ofcourse, I called to get an explanation of my statement and as usual no one is never there to speak to you! was told by some lady the financial aid guy is on vacation and she doesn't know about the statement....smh! Im gonna call on Monday lets see...
Im Just about finished my summer assignments, and I haven't brought any of the required books! There are a couple I plan on getting this week but the rest I will play by ear or as needed. As previous students stated, all the "required" books may not be needed or used. As far as tuition is concerned, we were told @ our orientation on June 29th that first quarters tuition is due on or before August 27th. Another former VEEB student stated that they will prob give u until the end of September to pay. Hope all works out for you. Good luck everyone!!
I have a question. I received my bill in for the first trimester, and unfortunately.. some personal family problems have occurred so I have no money to pay that off. And the tuition is including financial aid. Is there any loans out there that could help me out? Or if the school could give me an extended time to pay that off or something? Like a monthly payment plan? If so, I'd love to know about it. If not, I guess I have to push another year to go into the lpn program which I don't want to happen since I already got all the books and deposit in.
Oh no K.Steeza! Have you applied for student Direct loans through the school?? I pray all works out for you. Keep me posted.
