I agree with you this school is in it for the money only. First of all, why have us get books and everything then send you a statement that is due in a week, who does that, what if you cant find the entire amount and you've already gone through trouble gettn your books! and I bet you there gonna say there is no payment plan. Times are hard who has money laying around waiting to give VEEB. Im so sick of this I only hope its all worth it in the end cause I'll be really ******! Ofcourse, I called to get an explanation of my statement and as usual no one is never there to speak to you! was told by some lady the financial aid guy is on vacation and she doesn't know about the statement.... smh! Im gonna call on Monday lets see...

Hi Missme123, I checked online and they have the 3rd edition not the updated 4th edition. Did VEEB say it was ok to get the 3rd edition. The author has not published the 4th and it will not be ready until Nov. If its ok to get the 3rd then I'll order that one.

Hi Glady17, I started and Im almost done but I have a question for any one who has ordered their books tell me if they received Journey Across the Lifespan. I ordered from Rittenhouse and their saying its not ready until october. This seems strange because that book was on most modules and I cant find all the info from Fundamentals in Nursing Care...Anyone that has ordered please help!

Changemyworld, I forgot you also take your Photo I.D. make sure you bring $10 cash and bring pencils to take your exam cause Veeb charges .25 as usual alaways trying to make money...ha ha..

Hi Changemyworld, My orientation was from 1:30pm - 4pm about 4 or 41/2 hrs. First, you do the assessment which is similar to the one we took except there is some anatomy involved. Second, you get fitted for your uniforms and get your assignment and booklist. They go over the assignment and booklist with you, and you will need the books to complete the assignment. Finally, the financial aid counsellor will explain the financial aid process and hav u sign the VEEB contract. So thats what you will be doing....let me know if you have any more questions.

Hi Loveall32, I live in Elmont. I researched and saw that VEEB offered the LPN program and also got most of my info from this website. So I went to get the entrance packet studied for the test and I passed. If you look at past postings you will find all the info you need.

I just got accepted to VEEB for Sep 2010....I have a few questions about your transition after the LPN program......How long did it take for you to get a job? and are you a RN now? did you do the LPN-RN program.....what's the starting salary of a LPN now?? Hope this is not too many questions.....hoping to hear from you.

Hi Glady17, I took my test on Feb 8th also and got my letter to send in my two references. I did above average in both sections. I should get all my references by Friday.....best of luck!

Hi Lorrainerod, Yes, I received my scores by logging on to the ATI website. You need to select the test and it will download the results. I don't know if I passed, I got 69.66%. But I heard that they take everything into consideration (entrance essay, gpa, recommendations). How did you do? and do you know when they start calling for interviews? I'm just anxiously waiting, this is so torturous!

Hi Triple A's, Thanks for replying.....no I don't know of anyone but based on the previous threads it looks like they start interviewing by the first week in April and by May you should get an acceptance letter. I guess we should just keep our fingers crossed! good luck!

I took the TEAS at LICH on 3/6/09 and I got an overall score of 70.66%. I'm not sure if that's even passing...I'm so nervous and anxiously waiting. Does anyone know what is passing and when do they start sending out interview letters? What did everyone think of the exam.....

I applied to St. Vincent for the spring 09 semester, what was the test and waiting peroid after you took the test. If you don't mind was your gpa very high and how long after did you wait for your interview. I'm actually taking the test on 02/20/09. I really studied hard for the test, wish me luck!
