Hi All,
I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
Congrats Glady17......The nail biting experience is finally over.
Summer classes completed, purchased textbooks minus study guides. All work for Sept 1st completed, it's all studying from here on out.....
Sooooo ready to get this started and done with.......!!!!
See you folks in class.....signing off.....Enjoy the rest of your summer!!!!!!

Thank you Missme123. I'm not sure. I think they order it for us but I'm not too sure. I ordered my books through Rittenhouse too, but I havnt received an email or anything telling me there is a problem. I hope everything turns out OK. Thanks for letting me know....and I'll see you in September!!!!! Yay!!!!
Congrats to all those who have gotten accepted. Best piece of advice I can give you if you want to save some money on books is just get them as you need them off eBay, Amazon etc. Just type in the ISBN and into google and click on shopping, you'll have a bunch of options.
Sad to say, but I almost never used any of the books except the A&P review book which they require you to bring to class every so often. The notes dictated in class, really are that good and the exams are pretty much 99% off the notes.
Its unfair in my opinion, that the school scares you into spending $600+ for books. Some of the books won't even be used until 2nd and 3rd semester, so you've got time.
Good Luck to you all.
