VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

I handed in my reference letters this morning. Now I guess I just wait to see if I'm accepted into the program. Does anyone happent to know how long it takes to get an acceptance letter?

Just called veeb to ask about how long the wait for acceptance letters, I was told that all I can do now is wait and have my money ready when ever I receive it! Good luck to all those waiting!!! ;-)

Refrence Letters Turned In !!!

Has anyone received an official acceptance letter after turning in their refrence letters?

I handed in my references on Monday, the 5th, so I havn't received anything yet, but when I do I will let you know......Good luck to you!!!!!

I handed in my reference letters about 45 minutes ago. I did see some other people there handing in their letters. Hopefully we wont have to wait as long as we did for the pre-entrance test results :)

i brought my letters in on april 6th and there were a few people there...it was REALLY QUICK...she said "Everyone is turning in their letters...Thank YOu...I will submit these to the committee & you will have a response in a few days" & i was on my way

The only problem now is to figure out what she meant by a "few days"...YIKES!! the agonizing wait continues...:uhoh3:

Definitely feel u on the dreadful wait (and I do mean dreadful) lol. Hopefully since the deadline date to get the references in has now passed [April 7th] letters should be sent out anyday now?! Just a thought... :rolleyes:
