I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
Grindin,BE16..Since you graduated im pretty sure you will go on to get your Rn..will you be using any of the school Veeb recommended? Helen F, Nassau CC,Molloy, or Adelphi?
Oh ya another piece of advice for you guys, don't count on getting into Helene Fuld for November after you graduate. My biggest complaint about VEEB is their inability to get things done in a timely manner.
My application was complete except for the fact that VEEB won't have my transcript my ready til about December and I'm not even sure if they've sent out the list of students recommended for articulation. Last time I checked in late September they still haven't.
Considering the school is only 200 students, and compiling a list is fairly simple, why the hold up? I feel like they've held me back, but everything happens for a reason.

I am a Veeb 2009 graduate and all I can really say about veeb is do NOT focus on one subject more than the other, because just when you think your doing great in one, you start to neglect others, and thats when you slip up. But other than that Veeb is a great school and I would recommend it to anyone:heartbeat
BE16, Why Farmingdale I thought VEEB credits only transfered to those four schools..unless I understood wrong.
Look, due to my age I am not focusing on getting an associates. I prefer going directly toward a BSN. It doesn't matter if he takes me 4 to 5 years. I am not in a rush. I have no responsabilities which means no wife and children. After Veeb, I want to enjoy my life a little bit by visiting other countries while going to school.

lol its just me and archie now...i found that the jerk place down the block from school is open when i pass it at 745 in the mornin...wonder if thats too early for a patty?? haha
hows clinicals for you? we didnt get to do flu shots but the ppl who did say i didn't miss much. Which facility are you at? I'm at Holly and it's slightly depressing there. I've had people tell me that they got great experience there so hopefully that will be the case for me.
One more day of midterms left! (I want my grades now!)

hahaha..this is all too funny...im the one who has to move my feet everytime you want to leave the room..well we didnt do much for clinicals this week..we had monday off.. tuesday we did flu shots...yesterday we had part orientation cuz we couldnt get the videos.....and today we finished the videos...tomorrow is lecture so we really didnt do anything this whole week.. im not really anxious bedbaths.. im more anxious to do wound dressings and passing meds if they let us....how was the midterms. i dont even wanna pick up my grades.....it scares me...i know i did good in fundamentals, scie.found., and pharm.. human develop always kills me like everyone else....well good luck to all that is taking midterms tomorrow for human dev. and pharm...im gonna drop by the school tomorrow to pick up my grades after clinical......see yah there

lol yea i think that is kinda early for a pattie.....im at nasau extended.....dam its that bad at holly....alot of ppl said that holy is pretty bad.....but the guy that sits in front of us said it wasnt bad at all....oh well... we all will re-unite again one day...lol.....
