VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

I owe $796, but can't pay until Oct 22, will they kick me out for this? The counselor told me she doesn't want me to get suspended, are they serious. Do you know anyone that didn't pay all right away, and if so what did they do? Does anyone else still owe money?

i took my board on friday 2nd. Today i check online with the quick results

i pass. Lord have mery i pass with 200+ questions wich was lasted for 4hrs.

Most importantly, i am an immigrant where english is my second language.

congrulation be16 i also took my boards on octoer 2nd, and found out that i passed too. I was so hysterical because the computer had shut off at 85 questions so i was have many doubts. but we made it. did u take the review course at Veeb. I didnt. i basicalyy study on my own.

Well, i took the review but it wasn't helpful. I mean with $ 500 i can a lot with that money.

The way i did it to prepare for the board, i just spend 4 days doing 300 - 400 questions from nclex books for each day.Those books were lipincoot( bad spelling) saunders and delmar. I took my state board in the city in Fulton st. because the center in downtown was already unavailable for october month. The one in the city was empty. Mel p are you the first person who call Veeb to tell them the news because i was the second person so far.

well actually, i called them today around 830 and told them. so maybe i was the first to call them. u know my girlfriend who also graduated from veeb this year also said it was big waste of time going to the review. she didnt attend everyday because it was not what she expected it to be. It was FREE for her, but she's studying saunders and nclex as we speak and preparing to take exam in 2 weeks!!! kudos to her!!! im sure she will do fine!!!

oh and took my test in downtown brooklyn. i actually scheduled it 3 weeks before so i basically had the option of choosing anyday in october cause all days were available at that time. i also had the lipncott study book. it was a real awesome book

Hello. I also want to take the LPN class. I do understand that there's a entrance exam. What is on the test? Is it timed? what is considered a passing grade? Im not worried about the reading/comprehenshion part. My main concern is the math. I suck at it. anything pass basic math i will fail. can someone please email back.
