I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
hi miaizon,,i am pretty much done with the assignments other than a few questions i cannot seem to find...lol.... now working on remembering the prefixes and suffixes.
I have done some of the assignments as well, but I too can't seem to find some of the answers. I'm so surprised they didn't give us the chapters to read on our assignments. We have to figure out where to look for answers from the glossary, and the index.
I am just starting to get some of the books now...late start compared to some of you, I know, but $$$$ problems!!! I havent started the assignments yet. I am going to start on Aug 1. :)

I bought my books from online at various web sites. I bought alot from amazon.com and payhalf.com. I have spent about 295 or less, with only 4 more books to buy. It was alot of work but I did find them cheaper. I took advantage of amazons free shipping on some.
I also brought my books from amazon.com however I spent around $280 with six more books to buy:cry:. when is your shipment date, mines is the first or second week in aug

being that i have been following this particular board for a while now, i wanted to finally say that i am happy for all of you, and wish you much success on your new journey of becoming a nurse!
it goes w/o saying that i have an interest in this school as well. however, i will be applying with the class of 2011! so, i pose this question, what is the name of the exam i need to prepare for in order to pass veebs entrance exam? c-net? teas?
I have not yet pruchased my books. The funds are currently unavailable. Is anyone applying for a loan? Have you received any information from the financial aid office?
hey everyone...i bought my books yesterday from the website rittenhousebookstore.com I bought all of the required and it came to 500.and change. I called today and they said my books should be here within 2 days...Did anyone else use that website?
