VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

Im very nervous but anxious about tomorrow's assessment exam but I'm still looking foward to it though. Hope to see everyone there tomorrow at 8am sharp. I was actually thinking about wearing a name tag with my online name on it so this all of you could get a chance to meet me in person...lol...on second thought maybe thats just a little bit cheesy. Good luck everyone!!!!! (Remember!...we all need to stick to together because it's definitely going to be a challenging year...congragulations to everyone who has made it this far.)

Hey everyone a friend of mine took the bridge and got the same exact score she got the first time on the math which was a 8.5 and you need a 9.0 but i also heard that sometimes when the class doesnt fill up they call up people from before...is this true or even possible?? I dont know how she got the same score twice and she worked really hard its pretty sad...but if anyone knows or heard anything else like this let me know so i can tell her to atleast keep her hopes up for that.

Orientation was fine. The assessment was easy. Very basic. We got fitted for uniforms and took our ID pics. They spoke about financial aid, books and gave out our summer assignments. That was pretty much it.

Hey Trini do you know what color the uniforms are and we only have to wear them to clinicals right??

Miaizon you put your deposit down?? And why is it when i call the Financial aid guy is sick or on lunch..as much money this school gets they cant have two people working that office??

Yep dropped off money last Friday. I spoke to financial guy on Friday over the phone. I called today and yep he's out sick..I'll try again tomorrow. Why are you asking about the uniform color LOL!! you need to match your earrings right? lol

They gave out like 6 packets. They are Scientific foundations, Fundamentals of Nursing, Human Development, Communication & Safety information. I guess you are supposed to buy the books to do the work in the packets. Personally I didn't have $600 to get my books yesterday so I'm going to have to figure it out before Sept 2nd LOL
