VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Published

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

HEY ALL...hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend !! I'm so excited to start the bridge class on June 1st and meet everyone :)

Hey lidowest, I'm really excited about starting the bridge too! Can't wait to meet u too!

Not in the program, so everything that has been said is basically on point.

With the current budget cuts, I'm not sure about the current status of the program.

And from what I've heard you need to maintain an 80 average, and you give weekly progress reports to SNYA.

Some say its a hassle, but sure beats paying out of pocket.

1199 on the other hand though even pays for your books. And no hassle.

well i see some people talk about male student. I am still hanging after despite the fact a lot backstabbing. I am not saying my name. But, i will give you a hint. I am the youngest male student in section II

Where is the back stabbing? In the program itself? I've looked but haven't seen the people talking aobut male students.

Hang in there, young male!

You sure, you're the youngest?

I know who you are, the parallels between your posts and real life demeanor are uncanny. :chuckle

So you're saying people backstabbing you is affecting your grades? You can't be serious, this program is a piece of cake, as long as you can commit the time.

i do not think you know who i am. Besides, all the backstabbing do not affect my grades since i am not a procrastinator. Please, give a hint to show me you recognize who i am. Danm, i just want to have this cetrtificate and move on with my life.:smokin:

Call VEEB and explain your situation. They should be able to tell you what your status is. They already sent out letters for deposits and the physical is tomorrow.

Hey joey, I agree with trinionli, u should call them or even go in person if possible and explain your situation to them, try to speak to them as soon as possible so u can get your situation taken cared of..goodluck to u!

i called and they told me that there are ppl who are dropping out of the program and the seats are being filled and i should wait because they will be calling and sending out letters during june and july...i guess imma wait and see what happens.......thanks guys

Wow...people are dropping out of the program that hasn't even started? How is that possible? Maybe the bridge course students? Sounds a little crazy to me.
