I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

Hey Akanini thnx so you for the wonderful info that you've been posting up. Now that you mentioned that the staff is very helpful I'm not as worried anymore. I actually recieved my letter for orientation 8am June 22nd!! So excited and anxious. Anyways what is the ASSESSMENT TEST? Is this some kind of sciene exam?..Im actually clueless?
I'm going to be there on June 22nd also! I hope everyone will be nice. Does anyone live in Brooklyn? We have to be in school by 8am. I wonder how long it takes to get from Atlantic Avenue to the school. Does anyone know???

I dunno, depends on how you look @ it. It's only diagnostic, with no bearing on grade/admission. On the other hand though, it's a simple exam, and if you have trouble on it, you might encounter some growing pains in pharmacology.
Dunno if its the same every year, but class of 09 didn't fare too well from the results I saw, quite a few sub 60 out of a 100 grades.
