Members are discussing their acceptance into various nursing programs at Vanderbilt University, sharing their application timelines, GPA, and plans for clinical placements. They are also inquiring about scholarships, upcoming rounds of acceptances, and ways to connect with fellow students in the same program. Additionally, there is a mention of financial aid notifications and scholarships being emailed in the first week of May.
Hi! I wanted to start a forum for people applying to Vanderbilt's MSN program for a fall 2025 enrollment. Which program are people applying to & how much experience do you guys have?
Hi y'all! I applied for the direct entry masters program (not sure if this is the right thread LOL). Not too confident in my chances because I have zero healthcare experience (3 years working in biotech with human pathogens and President of my college's Honors Program). Hoping we hear back Friday!
Hi!! I also applied to the MSN pre specialty program for FNP. I have about 5 years of healthcare experience working as an EMT and medical assistant. One of my friends is in the program right now and said she was waitlisted last December and then got off the waitlist in January. It might be a waiting game, but hope to hear something soon!
Hi everyone!
I didn't know this thread was open! I applied to Vandy MSN WHNP program by the deadline. I heard back from one school, now just looking to hear back from the next. Apparently we are to hear back this week, or the next? That's awesome! Good luck to everyone and I hope we all make it in 🙂
Hi Everyone!
I attended a few of the webinars and I may be wrong, but I thought they said decisions would be released on Dec. 15. I also spoke with an advisor in October and I'm pretty sure they mentioned that this would be the day as well. I remember thinking it was a strange day to release because it was a Sunday LOL.
I hope this helps!
Hi all! I applied by the priority deadline with okay grades but lots of experience in health care (EMT, MA, recently CNA certified to work in the ED). Not sure the likelihood of me getting in, but feeling really hopeful. Hoping to hear this afternoon so we can have the weekend to mull everything over and not be constantly checking our phones LOL🙂 best of luck everyone!

Also - I applied to their direct entry AGACNP program.

I'm crossing my fingers that we'll know this Friday the 13th or Monday the 16th. I know that was around the time it came out last year, so I think that's the earliest we'd hear!
