Members are discussing their acceptance into various nursing programs at Vanderbilt University, sharing their application timelines, GPA, and plans for clinical placements. They are also inquiring about scholarships, upcoming rounds of acceptances, and ways to connect with fellow students in the same program. Additionally, there is a mention of financial aid notifications and scholarships being emailed in the first week of May.
Hi! I wanted to start a forum for people applying to Vanderbilt's MSN program for a fall 2025 enrollment. Which program are people applying to & how much experience do you guys have?
Hello! Congratulations to everybody who got in!! I applied late to the Master of Nursing PMHNP specialty and just got an email asking if I would be willing to compete my clinical placement OMTA. I got a general gist of what this entails (I would be responsible for where I end up for clinical), but I would prefer to complete my clinical placement close to Vandy.. If I agree to OMTA clinical, would that increase my chances of getting in?
Thank you in advance.

MTA has limited spots so technically you could have a higher chances of admission as OMTA.
