I wanted to start a thread for those of us applying to Vanderbilt's Master of Science in Nursing (MS) PreSpecialty Entry for Spring 2026 (non-nursing BS holders).
I submitted my application last week before the July 15 deadline. I'm applying for the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) track, but I'd love to hear from others pursuing different specialties too.
A few questions to get us started:
When did you apply, and for which specialty?
Have you received any updates or confirmation emails since submitting?
If you've been accepted already, what was the timeline like?

You should get an email letting you know that there is an update to your application or an email with an "admission offer".
If you get the email that there is an update to your application, you can check the portal.

My portal still says, "Application under review". rip LOL
Nope nothing yet. Mine still says "under review" as well. I'm wondering if that means we're on some sort of wait list? But like, why not just tell us that. The lack of communication is frustrating.

This is so disappointing. It will be nearly impossible for me to go now if I get in. By the time we find out we'll be going into the holidays 😮💨
