Vanderbilt Nurse Residency Winter 2017

Published

Hi Everyone, I know its early but who out there is applying for Vanderbilt's Nurse Residency Program in the Winter of 2017? I am applying for Burn ICU once they open up the application :)

I don't know if they are going in any kind of order- but when I asked Tracey after my interview she said everyone will hear by December 1st at the latest.

Did not get the job :(

Hi nurseBeeee, I interviewed for Peds ED and received an email from tracy fargo today saying that an offer letter is on the way but the exact track is still being discussed amongst the unit managers.

I interviewed with only Peds ED people only so I was surprised to hear they were discussing what track I'd be put into. Im thankful for anything but was really hoping ED.

Differentials are the following (assuming they're the same across all units):

Weekend $6

Evening (3p-11p) $3

Nights (11p-7a) $3.50

Did not get the job :(

I'm so sorry lwhite2015. Big hugs to you.

I got that same email ineedhelpdude and also only interviewed for Peds ED, let me know which track you get! Fingers crossed for you

Yeah, nurseBeeee! I kind of wonder if there is a chance we are still getting ED and maybe Mrs. Fargo simply knows we are getting an offer but didn't know what we interviewed for? I find that unlikely but it's possible I guess. Hopefully we find out soon!

Have you heard back at all?

Hey nurseBeeee, I got an email from Fargo with an offer for a spot on their Medicine Acute Care Track. I'm taking it for sure. Have you heard back?
