Hi guys! Vanderbilt's nurse residency program for Summer 2021 opened up yesterday. I'm starting this thread so we can all keep up with the process together! Who is applying?

Good to see everyone! I'm going to submit my application this weekend, I'm just trying to decide how to answer the questions on the application such as why vanderbilt and why this position

Hi everyone! I'm currently doing part 1 of the application. Does anyone know if we need to submit anything other than our resume in the file attachments part? Like cover letter, recommendations, transcripts, etc.?

So I attached my cover letter, and one of my recommendation letters from my Summer preceptor! However, I did not attach my other letters of rec. I just attached the one I thought was most important.

How long is it taking y'all to receive part 2 of the application? I applied this morning, and I still haven't received anything. I'm not sure when to expect it

I applied at 10 PM and received the 2nd part of part 1 to record the video interview the next morning at 10:30 AM. Odds are you'll receive it tomorrow.

I applied on a Saturday and received the 2nd part on Monday morning!

Anyone else applying for other nurse residencies in Nashville? I’ve been looking into everywhere for critical care but it seems like all places are doing interviews and filling spots way before Vanderbilt even calls people. Vanderbilt is my first choice but it’s kind of terrifying to put all my eggs in one basket and just hope Vanderbilt works out...
