Vanderbilt Nurse Residency Program - Winter 2013

I just mailed off my packet to Vanderbilt today! I'm so nervous and really hoping to get an interview for this program. Adult Critical Care is my first choice. I graduated in May 2012 with my BSN from Washington State University. I thought it would be fun to start a thread for people applying for the Winter 2013 program.

Hoping to meet other people who are applying to this program.

Grand View Apartments

The Lexington

Avondale at Kennesaw Farms - Great apts and very affordable but not really near much

The Landings of Brentwood- where I currently live- great apts about 30 min from work and in the middle of all sorts or food and shopping and celebrity homes. Please mention my name if you come here!

Polo Park - I used to live there and it's decent. I am not sure if it was just my building (I was back in the woods) but I had a bit of a bug problem. It is in a good spot though and about 20 min to work.

Waterford Place - Decent and afordable

I haven't seen these but they are affordable and in a safe area-

Hampton Chase Apts

The Hamptons at Woodland Point

Mission Bellevue Ridge

Blackstone, Fairmont and Lee apartments - Very close to vandy

Westboro - I have heard good things and also very close to Vandy

Park West at Hillwood - I have not seen these but one of our residents lives here and she really likes it.

Hi all, I am a nursing student in CA, planning to take my NCLEX after I graduate in June and was wondering if the Vanderbilt Nurse Residency Program accepts licensure from another state such as California? This program sounds like a wonderful opportunity, and I wish to partake in a residency program as such. Please let me know!
