Vanderbilt Nurse Residency Program Summer 2017

I know I am WAY ahead on this, but I just wanted to see who all was applying for VUMC nurse residency program in the summer 2017? The application opens up on December 9th and I want to apply for the Adult Critical Care Track! If anyone has any tips on the application, please feel free to comment! :) I know it's a long time coming, but I just want to see who out there will be applying!

Does anyone know what the shift differentials are?

How many people are moving out of state to Nashville? I'm from NJ! Also does anyone know how many new grads are they accepting for the ED?

I am moving from Texas! No idea how many they accepted for the ED. Coralblue are you in the ED too? That would make 3 of us at least. But my start date isn't until June 12th since I graduate in May.

A friend of mine who is currently in the program said that nights are $3.50/hr and weekends are $6/hr!

He LOVES it! He said that Vanderbilt is unlike any other hospital he has been to and that it is evident that they want you to succeed. :)

It was a VERY hard decision for me, but I declined Vanderbilt's offer :( I have an offer at another facility in critical care and that is truly where I belong. I still will be moving to Nashville though, and I wish all of you the best of luck!

I'm just really concerned because they told me April 7th was the last day for offers and I realize some people got offers the 8th but I have not seen any offers on here after that. Has anyone interviewed within the past week and were told the deadline for offers was extended?
