Vanderbilt NP Direct Entry 2022

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone! I'm starting to think about my application this fall and thought I would start a forum for any prospective students interested in applying to Vanderbilt direct entry for 2022.

Has anyone not received an email?? I haven’t gotten rejected or accepted. Is there another way I can check?

I never got an email but it was updated in my portal!

My portal still says “submitted” under status. Is that where yours said accepted/denied?

When I open my application fully, there was a box that popped up and said status change and that is where I found the acceptance letter.

Mine still says submitted though I have been accepted. You must log all the way in. Good Luck!

Hi everyone!

I applied for the upcoming fall 2022 PMHNP program. I didn't make the priority date, but I found out Friday that I was accepted. I did not anticipate getting in, but I would really love to be able to attend. Compared to my other school choice ($30k), I estimate Vandy to be between 90k-100k when all is said and done. How is everyone paying for this if you don't mind, and do you think that it is worth it? Do you already have student loans out? And where do you see yourself working after graduation (inpatient vs outpatient etc)?

How late did you apply?

I believe it was about 10 days after the priority date, end of October/before November.

Congratulations! Did you just now find out? (Just curious because I applied late and hopeful they will start moving through some of those applications soon.)

I found out on the 18th, but didn't find this forum thread/sit down to figure out my AN password until yesterday. I applied in the early cohort, so hopefully you hear back soon!
