Vanderbilt NP Direct Entry 2022

Hi everyone! I'm starting to think about my application this fall and thought I would start a forum for any prospective students interested in applying to Vanderbilt direct entry for 2022.

I only received an email acknowledging they had received my application. It took a little while for it to come through, but I want to say it was within the hour.

I did not, I just show application submitted status.

Anyone applied without a current BSN degree? I obtain my degree April 2022 and will hold an RN license prior to July 1st.

Or submitted official transcripts from their BSN program with a GPA of 3.4 or less? Just want to see if there are any applicants with the same stats as me!

My ASN was a 3.14, my BSN was a 3.94. My original undergraduate degree was 2.99. I had high doubts about ever getting in. But due to my experience/involvement and written responses, I got in! Much to my shock… I also credit the references I had. Try not to stress about your grades too much. Yes, they do matter, but the important part is really showcasing yourself!! I’m gearing up for the last month of the first semester at VUSN. I am in the AGPCNP program.

I submitted 10/14 last year, received an email 10/26 saying my application is complete if any are interested in time frames!

I reapplied this year to PMHNP, but did it during the priority deadline this year! I applied really late last year (January) and they were full (no surprise there)! Hopefully this year we can get it! Good luck to everyone!

I'm applying to the CNM program for 2022... waiting is the worst part.  I applied to Yale and UPenn too, but Vanderbilt is my first choice. Already got rejected from Yale (found out today). Anyone else applying to midwifery?
