Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2019. Anyone else applying/re-applying too? Please comment!

I applied to Xavier and Spalding ABSN as well as Mount St. Joseph MSN. What about you?

I also applied to Emory, Duke and Clemson ABSN. I've been accepted to Clemson and Emory...So just waiting on Vandy and Duke!

I also applied to Columbia, Yale, Boston College, UT Austin, and MGH. Vanderbilt is definitely my first choice though based on location, cost, and program length.

I did not apply to any other schools. I considered applying to a state school nearer to my family, but at the end of the day I knew that Vanderbilt was really the only program that fit what I was looking for. If I’m not accepted this go around I plan to work for another year and reapply next year!

The only thing keeping me sane is knowing that the last few years were told they would find out after the 14th when they called but seemingly they all were notified on the 14th. So there’s hope.

Hey guys! I am new this this post. I am a part time PMHNP student at Vandy so I will be finishing up next year with the new crop of RN students (and current Pre Speciality students). I am an open book and remember how nerve wrecking this week is. Good Luck to everyone (especially my fellow psych peeps). I am an open book if anyone has any questions!

Did you find out on the 14th last year? How hard is the program? How do you manage paying for the program? Can you work at all?
