Hi! I'm starting a thread for Fall 2019. Anyone else applying/re-applying too? Please comment!

I received an interview invite this morning Sunday at 8:38 am. It says VUSN Group 5 Interview with Faculty. Not sure what the groups represent since this is different from last year. My interview is this Friday.

I think the groups may be just based on the different types of people applying. I know group four for example was direct entry. I’m so happy for you girl! I’m soooo glad you got an interview. Go kill it!

Also thos wait is making me crazy lol. I have dreams about Vanderbilt almost every night.

Congratulations! I didn't receive any, guess need to look for back up schools, otherwise its going to be very depressing to sit and wait for rejection notice!

ringelm Keep the faith! When i spoke with them Friday they said they still had more interviews to conduct and that decisions wouldn't be made until February around Valentines day!

thank you for sending optimism my way, however I have to be realistic, because more likely they will leave for themselves 2 weeks to make a decision , means they will stop interviews on Feb 1 ( at least majority of them). I wish if they decided to reject one, they would change application status right away, that "submitted" becomes annoying)))

I agree! I feel that they should update our application status more frequently! Its very frustrating seeing no movement at all!

Thanks, GeorgiaNurse2018! I plan on knocking it out the park. You know I will be sure to let the forum know the outcome. The wait is killing me too. I have to get in this year. I am postponing moving out of state because I want to get in so bad.

Hi Morralli! I think Group 5 represents a category of some kind. It will be an individual interview with 2-3 faculty members.

The wait is horrible and they do not update the application portal at all. I do not understand their logic. For example, last year when people received application updates on 2/14 I received nothing. My application was not updated until 3/15.

Do you no if being OMTA is less competitive then Being on campus?
