This thread is for all of those out there who are planning on applying to one of Vanderbilt's MSN programs for Fall 2013. I'm starting to get my application packet together. I haven't started my interview survey questions and goal statement yet but I need to get on it. I need to take the GRE still though. Has anyone taken that? What did you get? Did you study? Harder than you thought?
Thanks MrSensitivity! You too! I just went back through my essays last week and found that I had made two misspellings in the same paragraph. I think I might have copied and pasted an older draft into the application.. ugghhhh.. I feel like such a bonehead.. I know they look at that stuff too But still.. my fingers are crossed!
I wouldn't worry about it, Jenny.J. Sure they look at it, but only to make sure you know what you're getting into. They told me that decisions are almost entirely based on GPA and GRE.

I am an RN, and I'm also glad to see another direct entry ACNP on here. I'm from Saint Louis and last March I went to the open house at Vandy and I asked ******, the program director, if they still had spots for the direct entry ACNP program and she said they did. And this was all the way in March, after decisions would have been made for last fall. I took that as good news!
I'm from Columbia, Missouri!!! I hope to do the distance program at Vandy. That makes me feel better that they had spots open last year so hopefully we'll both get in!!
