Vanderbilt Grad Entry 2012 Application

Hello! I have seen forums for the previous years' application cycles, but not for the class starting fall 2012.

Sooo... how's it going for everyone? I take the GRE on Friday (gah!) so of course I'm trying to avoid studying for that!

no mail, but i'm not expecting it for awhile since i live in new york. also realized monday is president's day sooooo won't be hearing until tuesday anyway unless they email us blaarrgghhh

ahhhh I forgot Monday was a holiday. But at least I can know the earliest I may hear is Tuesday... oh the ways of justifying things or trying to make myself feel better.

well nothing in the mail for me! i guess we will all be waiting until tuesday :( i'm going to call if i don't get something then! this waiting is awful and it seems like multiple people had heard at this time last year!

i was assuming we'd get letters because they got letters last year but does anyone know for sure if we get letters or emails? i would love for it to be an email so it doesn't take so long!!

Letters... I wish emails! I know some people didn't hear until March, no way I can wait that long!!!! Just hoping it's this week and not next, the waiting game continues...

I'm feeling the excitement too! And the nerves! This is such a wonderful time in all of our lives, and I really hope that we are all classmates this coming fall :)

Here are a few words of encouragement...a quote that I like to live by..."Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive".

I truly believe this is what we are all doing. We are following our passion and doing what makes us come alive. Cheers to another week of watchful waiting and anticipation :)

I have already been accepted to Emory, and it is frustrating because they want a deposit by March 1st in order to hold my spot.

I am also undecided if I should work while I am in school. I would have a part-time job with flexible hours. I have been working in this job for 4 years now, and if I did, it would help because it is at Vanderbilt. I am just worried about how I will be able to pay for school. I don't want to be drowning in debt when I graduate.

The only communication that I have had is someone asking for a clarification about something. I just hope they email us this week!
