Valley System New Grad Program

Hi all! I wanted to know more about the Valley hospitals new grad program. Any of you here went through it or know of someone who did?. I also wanted to know your experience in the program and if you have any advice. Thank you!

I am also interested in the Valley Health System program. I am a new graduate, and I may relocate to the Las Vegas area for personal reasons. I have read jobs are hard to come by for new graduates, so I am very nervous. If you have any information about hospitals/job, I would greatly appreciate any help!!!

Just keep applying. What I did was applied to all positions even if it didn't state new grad. Best of luck!

Which hospital did you get hired at?

There are a lot of positions currently open in Spring Valley. They just recently opened a new OBS unit and their med surg units are in need of nurses. The new grad training program for med surg is 12 weeks long and they really try to give you all the tools you need to be successful.

How often does Spring Valley have their new graduate RN application out? I am from out of state, but I do have a current Nevada nursing license. I'm dying to leave my area, because I want to get away from my parents, and I also want to establish my own life, and *gasp* find a decent nursing job where I am satisfied working for/at. My current nursing job is killing me.

i believe 3-6 months. just keep applying online because the position is not stated as "NEW GRAD". good luck!

Sounds too familiar lol. Search for and apply to jobs in the whole valley health system, not just SV.
