Valley Presby has plenty of Medi-Cal and Medicaid patients. If you enjoy working with lower income and immigrant populations, this might be the hospital for you.

I did my clinical rotations on the maternity floor of Vally Pres, and I LOVED it...please DO NOT judge people based on how they are paying for their visit (medi-cal, cash, insurance) I think it is highly disrespectful to your patients, as well as your coworkers. Anyway, everything is new, CLEAN, and since it is a smaller hospital then most, new technology, and regulations are implemented quick, so everybody is on top of their sh** there. So, long story short, it's a great hospital, so go ahead and apply, and good luck!
thank you alisa and commuter!!! i really appreciate for your replies.
i did apply the hospital, the hr lady was so nice and friendly. i don't care how ppl pay their health care, as long as i am happy to work there.
i'm waiting for their interview, hopefully i will be hired.

I LOVED working @ VPH as an LVN - worked there in ALL med/surg/ICU areas for over 10 years and was treated VERY well; respected and commended for my level of nursing care. Even though I have been gone many years from VPH I still miss it and the many friendships I made while working there. You will enjoy it and the people...learn all you can and pick the brains of other nurses...they are all willing to help you!!! I miss it!!!
