Valley Hospital

Published

I'm a RN moving to Nevada was offered a job at Valley Health. Was curious about the hospital and benefits.. I'm waiting for the actual "official offer" from HR. I was curious about how much insurance costs for a family of 5.. Any comments on your opinions of working at that facility as well would be helpful:)

I'm very excited to start this chapter of our lives:)!!

Specializes in ED, Long-term care, MDS, doctor's office.

I am also thinking about relocating to a warmer climate such as Nevada. What state are you from & how easy or difficult was it for you to get your NV license? Did you have your NV license prior to applying to jobs? I also have been watching the Valley website & it looks like there are a lot of positions open. Did you do any initial telephone interviews or were your interviews in person? I wish you good luck with your new direction in life & I hope you and your family are blessed with happiness:)

I had sent out all the paper work for my license, I'm currently a RN I'm Michigan.

I do not currently have a license as of yet in Nevada, it is pending, my fingerprints have been sent out.

I applied to a lot of openings. I got a message from HR and then the next day the hiring manager called me and we ended up talking for about an hour and it just kind of turned into a phone interview. It was very surprising and it seemed as though it was perfect timing.

What about Valley Hospital interest you? I have been hearing good things about the whole system..

Good luck to you as well!!:)

Hello. I am new here. I am also planning on relocating in Nevada.

Are you talking about Spring Valley Hospital? I also applied in that hospital just yesterday.

Congratulations. Were u a nurse before or new grad?

Those that found work at Valley. How much working experience did you have? Coming from California myself and hoping to get into Valley. Got my temp license already.

What are the other hospitals close to valley hospital that are hiring rns?

rnangel, I am from Indiana, so we are neighbors! It seems that there are many job openings for RNs, as well as CNAs with the Valley system. This is what caught my attention, since my daughter is a CNA, I am hoping she can also get her license to work there, too..I was hoping for a better quality of life for our family with the warm weather and sunshine. I have been apartment hunting online & I think I will plan a solo trip just to check out the neighborhoods in person within the next 2 or 3 months. I think I will also begin working on my NV application & try to get fingerprinted when I go on my solo trip. I would like to make the move before winter hits again.Thank you for sharing your experience! I wish you the best of luck and happiness:)
